Partridge Hill Media Counts Down to the Re-launch of The Wedding Directory and Introduction of Wedding Day Magazine

In late 2005, Partridge Hill Media acquired The Wedding Directory, a time-honored resource for brides and wedding planners in the Boston area.  For nearly twenty years, The Wedding Directory published factual information on local wedding venues and wedding-related professionals including floral designers, caterers, and bridal shops.  At its inception, The Wedding Directory sought to serve the affluent bridal market.  Over time, it expanded to serve a wider demographic, and in 2005 the book was put into digital format and distributed on compact disc.

Responding to feedback from both its advertisers and brides alike, it was determined that, in a heavily saturated bridal market, The Wedding Directory needed to return to its affluent demographic roots, and to print.  Partridge Hill Media has spent the intervening time re-focusing the content and re-designing the look of the publication. In January 2009, PHM will re-launch The Wedding Directory in Boston with a companion edition for the New York bridal market.

The publication of The Wedding Directory will be attended by an exclusive online bridal portal which will offer a variety of tools, locally-focused content provided by wedding industry experts, and personal services.
